‘The Gold Dollar Story’
These now quite rare US coins were designed - engraved by James B. Longacre and minted in Philadelphia from 1849-54. James Barton Longacre was one of the most well known engravers of the US mint during the 19th century. After Christian Gobrecht passed away, Longacre would become the fourth Chief Engraver of the US Mint and coin production.

I would grade this example as AU (About Uncirculated).
