Aitken-Drum Antiques does offer a full refund for all items that are not "as described" and when items "arrive damaged". In event of the later, please get in touch within Aitken-Drum Antiques within 3 days and please state what has happened and send an image of any damage.

 All other requests for a return and refunds will be assessed on a "piece by piece" basis. If for any reason a piece arrives not as described, again, please get in touch within 3 days and state what has happened and send an image.

Each piece is sold “as-is” or “as seen online”, however I take great care to note any flaws or faults in the 'Condition' section. Each piece is checked over fully and researched to insure its integrity at the point of sale.

 Please remember that the pieces I sell are antique, vintage or even relics from antiquity and therefore are second, third or fourth hand etc. This is all part of their charm and story - they have lived a long life usually and developed a patina and ware that I keep where possible. An antique is only original once after all.

In the main I don't offer a sale on approval service, which generally means if you simply don’t like it and want to return it, this comes under "change of mind". There is a lot of time, money and work involved in transporting and arranging goods and the costs incurred can be vast. My advice would always be if you are unsure on a piece please ask as many questions as you like to make sure you understand everything before you buy. If you are still unsure then please arrange for a video viewing.

Please note. Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed and I cannot accept the return of any items that has been altered, adapted, damaged or attempted to be repaired subsequent to arrival of your delivery in any way. All returns must be first approved by Aitken-Drum Antiques.
